Tokyo Ryuki Kogyo ODM-300SDR Orifice-type Flow Meter
Tokyo Ryuki Kogyo ODM-300SDR Orifice-type Flow Meter
The Tokyo Ryuki Kogyo Co., Ltd. ODM-300SDR is a marine-grade orifice-type flow meter designed for accurate measurement of sea water flow using differential pressure principles. It is widely installed in ship engine rooms, cooling systems, and ballast lines where reliable, power-free indication is required.
•Installation: Flange-mounted orifice body with impulse lines
Working Principle
The system uses an orifice plate installed in the pipeline to create a pressure drop. The difference between high-pressure (H) and low-pressure (L) sides is transmitted via impulse lines to the indicator. Flow rate is calculated based on this pressure differential and displayed on the analog dial.
Key Features
•No external power required (mechanical indication)
•High reliability in marine environments
•Corrosion-resistant construction for seawater service
•Clear analog dial marked specifically for “SEA WATER”
•Directional arrows for correct installation
•Simple and low-maintenance design
•Suitable for continuous operation
Construction Details
•Orifice Body: Installed between pipe flanges with flow direction marking
•Differential Pressure Lines: Transparent tubing for H & L connection
•Indicator Unit: Panel-mounted analog display calibrated for flow
•Marine Build: Designed to withstand vibration, humidity, and salt exposure
Typical Applications
•Ship engine room cooling water systems
•Ballast water flow monitoring
•Seawater circulation systems
•Offshore platform piping systems
•Marine auxiliary systems
•Industrial water flow monitoring
Advantages in Marine Use
•Works without electricity (ideal for backup systems)
•High durability in harsh seawater conditions
•Easy installation and calibration
•Reliable for continuous monitoring in ships and offshore units
